On Sunday 22nd August, Rick will lead us in another of his infamous rambles.  Nothing strenuous, of course, and, as usual, the prospect of a pit stop in an appropriate hostelry.

We enjoyed our annual summer BBQ on Saturday 24th July.  A lovely, warm evening, which saw 30 members tucking into the traditional BBQ fare and partaking of a glass or two of delicious red wine or, perhaps, the odd beer.  There was much to discuss and excitement to be shared about our forthcoming production of ‘Rebecca’.  This will be a challenging play to produce but one we are sure will be a firm favourite with our supporters, such is the popularity of Daphne du Maurier’s book.

Following a well-attended play reading and some eager auditioning (most members fancied a part in this production!), director Helen Chisnall has decided on the cast for ‘Rebecca’, a play by Clifford Williams based on the famous Daphne du Maurier book.  The cast will be:
